Tine Verschaeve started up her business “Mauriz” when she realized there was a connection between the projects she took on, ranging from private initiatives to multinationals’ larger projects in diverse fields such as architecture, contemporary art, music, and film. Amidst all that diversity her projects are linked by one thing: for each and every assignment Tine is able to find a balance between the artistic creation and the needs of clients, financers, marketers, other contributors, and the audience. She is able to fulfil all parties’ wishes while maintaining a healthy relationship between all people involved at the same time.

In the field of contemporary art, Tine has worked for WIELS, FRAC Nord-Pas de Calais, and Gallery Deweer. She can rely on her experience as a PR and Marketing Manager thanks to her work for Sony Music. Tine organised both fashion and digital B2B events for Gruner + Jahr, the largest European printing and publishing firm. PR and international press work holds no secrets for her thanks to many projects, including the opening of deSingel’s building in 2010. For Mer Paperkunsthalle she successfully organised an auction lunch for more than 100 invitees and artists. Tine held a position as communication director for Smart Car Benelux for 3 years. She was hired as a Marketing Manager for A-Film Amsterdam from 2003 until 2007. Between June 2013 and March 2015 she was responsible for all marketing and acquisition activities for September Film.

This occupies my days

Since 2001, Tine regularly does projects for the Flemish Architecture Institute such as the events Day of the Architecture (5 editions) and -de Avonden-.

She is Team Manager of the Sales, Marketing, Free Publicity and Materials Department at Paradiso Films and is active in all  acquisition activities.

She is currently reorganising all communication and digital output for ballet school An van den Broeck.

Since October 2014 she teaches at Howest Brugge as lector in movie marketing.

Mauriz

Tine feels at home in all previously mentioned fields, both on a professional and personal level. The diversity of her projects enabled her to build an international network that includes all art forms. A cat with many lives

Mauriz’s name was inspired by the cat living in Tine’s home office because like the animal, the company will land on its feet in any working environment, both freelance and employed.

Mauriz takes the initiative where others back down and does not stop at the easiest solution, instead looking for the best one available. Tine shares her experience in the different fields with her clients, looks for strategic partners, and secures them.
